Milan become the basketball’s Capital city with a four-day Euroleague Final Four sponsored by Turkish Airlines, without a doubt the biggest basketball event in Europe in 2014.
With nearly 20 hours of live programming, Fox Sports, official broadcaster of the 2014 Euroleague Final Four edition, has ensured a full coverage of the event employing a cutting edge technology: 20 Full HD cameras (including a drone for outside images) which have recorded any moment of the event inside and outside the Mediolanum Forum in Milan. The use Google Glass worn by players for the subjective scene, completed the innovation level for this production.
Energy Rental has been awarded to ensure the supply of electricity to the whole event, chosen as the official supplier by Euroleague. Two twinpack generators covered the envent: one generator has supplied all the TV compound, transmitting satellite vehicles, commentators stations and for the interviews area. Another generator has provided energy to the show, audio and lights , providing electricity without interruption even in the presence of power loads very variable. The power generators employed by Energy Rental were supersilence double generators working in parallel, controlled by an electronic control unit that ensures full redundancy even in the presence of a fault. Even in case of malfunction of one of the two motors, no power could be interrupted.
The Euroleague Final Four has been broadcasted live in more than 200 Countries Worldwide.
